Leigh Rhodes - Performer

Born in Geelong, Leigh Rhodes has worked hard to become a character and music driven circus performer based in Melbourne. A recent graduate from the National Institute of Circus arts (NICA) and a former student of CircArts, Leigh specialises in Roue Cyr, Bounce juggling and Rollerblading, he adds hints of musicality, dance, character to his circus work, and every now and again some shower singing.

Bede Nash - Performer 

At the age of 5, Bede wanted to become a professional ninja, so he began practicing around the house at the mercy of the furniture. His parents quickly enrolled him into gymnastics classes. After training gymnastics for 13 years, Bede decided to focus his passions to circus.  He performed and trained with Trick Circus for a number of years. He then studied at the National Institue of Circus Arts, in Melbourne, specialising in Hula Hoops and Fast Track, Bede also excels in many other areas in circus, such as, handstands and pitching.

Maxine Gigliotti- Performer

Maxine grew up, down on the peninsula, swimming at the beach and balancing on every fence she could find. At the age of 13 she discovered Hipcat youth circus where she began her circus journey. Maxine recently graduated the Bachelor program at NICA specialising in Tight wire, Dance trapeze and Pitching. Maxine cant wait to perform lots more fun creative work in the future.

Callem Newall- Performer

Callem grew up in rural Tasmania as a self proclaimed backyard trampoline addict. Studying at the  National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne, Callem specialised in Adagio and free standing Ladder. Having a background in youth circus thanks to Slipstream in Ulverstone, Callem is a multi-tallented performer experienced in everything from fire performing to clowning and acrobatics.  

Scarlet Rosa - Performer

Scarlet started circus at the age of 13, with a community circus called Westside. In 2012 and 2013 she studied at the National Institute of Circus Arts, completing Certificates III and IV in Circus Arts. She joined Odds and Ends Circus in 2014, performing with them at Falls Festival, The Melbourne Fringe Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Her specialities include swing pitching, burlesque and pole dancing. She dreams of travelling the world performing while experiencing the many exciting and interesting things the world has to offer.
